Fashion Sense

V Magazine will issue "the size issue" on January 14th. This promotes women of healthy sizes, realistically portraying the average size of a woman today and fighting eating disorders and ridiculous standards of perfection, the likes of which can only be achieved by airbrushing. The shoots photographer was Norwegian fashion photographer Solve Sundsbo.

Personally, I say that a healthy lifestyle with both exercise and a balanced diet is the way to go, however I totally stand behind V Magazine and their "outing" of the fashion world and the ridiculous standards we have come to expect. (Standards that have driven women to eating disorders.) Go V! :)

  1. I've always been a fan of fuller-figured models. There's a great site with many images of plus-size models here:

    They're all gorgeous.

The site's forum also has thought-provoking discussions about body image and the media.

  2. This is pretty cool, thanks so much for sharing! :)

  3. That leopard print ensemble in the 3rd picture, I let her borrow that.
