Inspired Design

I spent New Year's at my brother's home in Tennessee, and just had to share the beautiful home that he and his wife have made together. My sister-in-law recently bought a bunch of mismatched throw pillows for the two couches and chair that occupy their living room. I loved them!

They've also recently transformed their home office into a nursery. (My niece, Reece, is now 7 months old.) The colors were so bright and fun!

The picture hanging over the changing table is a photograph of my brother and his wife, right before she was due. (Her exposed baby belly shows how far along she was!)

I thought the baby furniture was both functional and chic!

How could I not take a picture of this?!

Their study holds a really great piece of furniture: a sofa bed made of a deep chocolate leather.

The main wall of the study was made into a shelving wall, and I love the color used to paint it! (This would have been a really great photo, had my brother's golf clubs had been moved...)

The lighting featured in this room was fabulous! I especially love the lamp. :)

  1. There house looks so cozy. However, that sock monkey on the couch has to go.

  2. Hahaha, it was one of Reece's Christmas presents, which is why it was still lingering in the living room.
